Information Technology Management Reform Act (ITMRA / Clinger-Cohen Act)
Requires federal agencies to focus more on the results achieved through IT investments while streamlining the federal IT procurement process.
Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA)
Requires agencies to set goals, measure performance, and report on their accomplishments.
Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (FASA)
Requires agencies to define cost, schedule, and performance goals for federal acquisition programs and monitor these programs to ensure that they remain within prescribed tolerances.
Federal Acquisition Reform Act of 1995 (FARA)
Requires the head of each executive agency, after consultation with the administrator for Federal Procurement Policy, to establish policies and procedures for the effective management of the acquisition workforce of the agency.
Government Paperwork Elimination Act (GPEA)
Requires the Office of Management and Budget to include alternative information technologies that provide for electronic submission, maintenance, or disclosure of information as a substitute for paper and for the use and acceptance of electronic signatures.
