eCPIC provides agencies with a robust and customizable foundation to create
investment processes that are aligned to an agency's specific capital planning
needs. Moreover, using out of the box capabilities, eCPIC administrators can
create custom processes that guide users through an agency's Capital Planning
Process while providing checkpoints and progress reviews along the way.
In addition to custom process capabilities, eCPIC includes features to create
agency-defined / custom fields that will capture data beyond what is typically
required by OMB. These fields can be inter-mixed amongst management, OMB, and
Capital Planning processes allowing data entry forms to combine mandatory reporting
requirements with agency specific needs.
The flexibility of the eCPIC solution ensures that changes in OMB reporting
requirements, or changes in an agency's Capital Planning processes can
be easily integrated into the solution.
