The Scoring Module in eCPIC assists agencies with rating and assessing Investments and Portfolios progress, capabilities, performance, and goals. eCPIC comes with several default “out of the box” scorecards that agencies can use as-is or tailor to meet their specific needs. Agencies also have the ability to create an unlimited number of new Scorecards based on their own weighting and criteria, each of which provides the template for individual assessments, known as Scoresheets. The Module is composed of a number of features that are useful in identifying and displaying the healthiest investments. The major scoring features include Inline Scoring, Investment Scoresheet Form, Authoritative Record, and Scorecard Dashboards. Each question on a scoresheet, as well an overall score is shown with a red (low), yellow (medium) or green (high) visual indicator to help users identify the status of each individual rating.

Within the Investments module, users with scoring capabilities will be able to score their business cases in a streamlined fashion. This provides the ability to view the business case and scoresheet question side by side while scoring.

Within the Scoring Module, users with scoring privileges can score an investment using the full scoresheet of a given scorecard. These scores are tied in directly with the streamlined scoring functionality in the Investment module.

The Authoritative Record is the scoresheet of record that has been selected as the accepted final assessment for a particular investment. Within the Authoritative Record tab, Admin users can view all the Scoresheets for each of the investments that have been associated with a Scorecard. The values submitted as the Authoritative Record for an investment will be accessible to view throughout the application (i.e. Reports, Views, Portfolio Charting, etc.).

The Scorecard Dashboard is a ‘View’ only screen that lists each investment, its Authoritative Record value for overall status, and each field within its Scorecard. Users have the ability to change the display type of the Dashboard. Each display type presents the data in a different view.
